The organization was born out of the need for a better and more effective solution to property management.
First Priority is headed by industry veteran C. David Barton, CPM®, ARM®, who previously headed Washington-based Hagner Management, the property management arm of one of Washington’s oldest and most respected full-service residential real estate firms. When Hagner was acquired in 2008 after nearly a century of operation, Mr. Barton took his highly experienced team and opened First Prioritys Doors on February 1, 2010. By combining his extensive asset management experience with Hagner Management’s highly experienced property management team, First Priority Management is uniquely positioned to be the premier management company in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
First Priority Management provides property management services to over 15 multifamily and condominium buildings in the District of Columbia. First Priority Management offers fee-based third-party rental and condominium association property management for multifamily properties throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
First Priority Management utilizes state-of-the-art technologies – such as voice-over-Internet phone systems and internet based residential management software, allowing residents and owners to request maintenance and repairs, check their account status, and make monthly payments – all on-line. Public visitors can view available apartment homes and apply for an apartment on-line. Property owners can view financial information and other details about their properties on-line. The First Priority team and the tools at their disposal combine to provide highly responsive service to our residents and owners while optimizing the efficiency of our operations.
